In a joint work session held in Santiago on April 12, the two institutions sought opportunities for collaboration to create, promote and implement strategies aimed at sustainable economic and social development. The Centre of Excellence in Applied Sciences for Sustainability in Africa (CESSAF) held its first full stakeholders meeting on Monday 5th March, in Luanda, Angola.
The CESSAF will be founded on guiding principles of investigating sustainability through a combination of environmental, social and economical aspects. All courses will have hands on, practical assignments alongside theoretical components and teachings.
